Teenager Charged After Investigating Abandoned House

Our client was a high schooler with a promising future and no prior disciplinary or legal issues. The client was seen by an officer leaving an abandoned house near her neighborhood after going in to investigate out of curiousity and charged with Criminal Trespass. This charge had the potential to be a detriment to the client's future education and employment opportunities, if it was not resolved in the best possible manner. The case required months of negotiations with the prosecutor and the property owner. Eventually, we reached a breakthrough allowing our client's record to remain clear of any convictions.
